This family-owned business was started by Puerto San Carlos´very own female entrepreneur Doña Maria who took her love of cooking and started her own business. This small open kitchen has a small seating area outside and opens every day at 7 am until the lunch crowds leave between 1-3 pm (depending on how busy they are). They make the tortillas and gorditas fresh, by hand, in front of your eyes the moment you order them! Ask for the Birria Tatemada, their most famous dish. Enjoy coffee and breakfast at the Wednesday morning market before you shop for fresh produce and artisan goods. If you like it, they will be happy to pack up a large order to go for you.

For Vegetarians: Make sure to order the fresh gorditas with queso only, and stuff it with the fresh veggies that they put on the table.
